The EScan Install.zip can also be installed and used in Demo Mode to learn how the EScan works if you do not already own one.
Vista & XP Drivers for USB to Serial Adapters:
Below are download links for USB to Serial adapters sold with EScans. If you are upgrading from XP to VISTA you probably need to download one of the below drivers. To install, download and unzip the appropriate driver file. Then read the "Installation Directions.txt" file for details.

NI VISA Driver:
If you are using Windows VISTA you will also need the NI VISA (version 4.1 or newer) driver to be installed on your computer for the EScan to work with all types of serial adapters (direct, USB, & Bluetooth). If you have already installed a driver for other ATS diagnostic products you should already have this driver installed and you can contact AE Tools and Computers to verify. See the below link to install NI VISA:
Download visa410runtime.exe (~30MB) and save to your hard drive.
Run the downloaded file and allow it to unzip.
Run the unzipped installer (should run automatically after unzipping).
Accept all defaults and reboot if asked.
Adobe Flash Player:
If you have problems running the Flash videos within the EScan, i.e. if the show a white screen when you play them, you may need to download the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player. You can get this by going to http://www.adobe.com/ and pressing the “Get ADOBE FLASH PLAYER” link.
The EScope program will only run if you have the ATS EScope hardware. The "Download EScope.exe File Only" option has been removed to avoid confusion.
Driver Download (needed if first installation or if upgrading to Rev 1.22 from older version):
The EIgnition program will only run if you have the ATS EScope or EScope Pro hardware.
This can also be installed and used in Demo Mode to learn how the Emission works if you do not already own one.
Download EmissionInstall.zip (~12MB) to your desktop.
Double-click on the downloaded file on your desktop to view the zipped contents.
Double-click on Setup (Application) to install the Emission. If the installer asks you if it is OK to uninstall the existing version allow it to do so and then run the Setup again to install the new version.
Note that the Emission program will only run if you have your computer connected to the ATS Emission with power on unless you run it in Demo Mode.
The first time you run the Emission program it will ask you for a passcode to unlock the software unless you run it in demo mode. To get your passcode, contact AE Tools and Computers at 785-445-3533 and provide the computer ID that the program shows you at startup. ATS will contact you with your passcode. The next time you upgrade your Emission software you will not have to do this.
