NU-Path Logic® technology enables mechanics to plug a laptop into the on-board computers of vehicles (1996 and newer) and quickly diagnose the root causes of problems preventing passage of emissions tests.
A 15-30 minute process, versus hours, days or weeks of driving. Failed emission testing vehicles can be repaired and re-inspected the same day.

Overview and Walk-through
Nu-Path's automated drive cycle process can eliminate hours, days, weeks or potentially hundreds of miles of driving.
Nu-Path Logic technology has two major applications that are both automated through software:
1. Drive Cycle procedure: Nu-Path's 15 minute virtual drive cycle procedure determines what is restricting monitors from resetting and expedites the process of determining proper vehicle operating conditions to achieve "readiness."
2. Mode 6 Evaluation: Data-stream information is used during all driving conditions to identify vehicle operating conditions outside of "readiness enabling criteria." This analysis session confirms "readiness barriers" no longer exist or have been greatly reduced.

Nu-Path Logic® software is protocol independent. It’s designed to use Generic OBD-II data as defined in the SAE J1979 Surface Vehicle Standard. However, in combination with the PH2 Solutions Vehicle Interface Adapter, NPL works with the following protocols:
· J1850 VPW
· J1850 PWM
· ISO-9141
· ISO-14230 (Keyword Protocol 2000)
· CAN (J2284) 11-bit 500Kbps
